　音楽の都・ウィーンを拠点とし、プログレッシブかつディープなDJスタイルでヨーロッパや日本を中心に活動。ファッションモデルの経験を持つ端正なルックスと、情熱的なDJプレイで多くのファンを獲得している。

2007年はMichael Mishimaにとって記念すべき年となった。Berbessoとの共作”Revolutionary”はProgress Recordingsからリリースされ、その一連のリミックス作品はBeatportを初めとするDJ向け音楽配信サイトを席巻。日本からはレジデントパーティー”KOOL”やSatoshi Tomiieとの交流で知られるKO KOMURA、Carl CoxのIntecよりリリースされた”KAZANE”がヨーロッパを中心に記録的ヒットを飛ばしたHIROKI ESASHIKA等のビックネームがリミックスを提供し、彼の名前を一躍クラブシーンに知らしめた。

2008年にはAsianDynasty Recordsより、本人名義でのデビューシングル「YAMATO EP」を2008年春にリリース予定。

BIOGRAPHY (English):
Michael Mishima has been a globetrotter for all his life. Currently based in the city of music, Vienna / Austria, he has lived in the former USSR, Japan and Indonesia.

As a DJ he spinned records in Austria, Hungary and Japan, conveying his definition of high quality electronic music. His sets can be described as rolling and melodic though dark and deep.

Review 2007

2007 was a great year for Michael. His first track “Revolutionary” was released on Progress Recordings, followed by Remixes for Christian Paduraru’s “Pentateuch” (both in cooperation with his friend and colleague Berbesso). Besides club music projects Michael Mishima also arranged the whole musical concept for the online game “Crazy Xmas Racer”.

Through “Revolutionary” he got in contact with Japanese major DJs and artists Ko Kimura and Hiroki Esashika who both contributed great remixes to the “Revolutionary” release.

Ko Kimura, a close friend to Satoshi Tomiie, is the pioneer of club-sound in Japan and an icon of Japanese dance-culture. Hiroki Esashika, based in the northern city of Hokkaido, is even in Europe and America one of most known and popular Japanese DJs and artists, rocking the globe in 2005 with his Intec burner “Kazane”.

The cooperation with both artists led to such good and satisfying results that “Revolutionary” will only be the starting shot to upcoming musical cooperations in the near future.

Preview for 2008

“Yamato EP1″ will be released within the first quarter of 2008 on Japanese label AsianDynasty Records – containing remixes of Hiroki Esashika, Takaaki Itoh and Yasu.exe Sounds. “Yamato EP2″ will follow in the second quarter of 2008 – additional informations tba.

The formation Berbesso & Michael Mishima is also working determined on new tracks. “Dreamer” and “Anabolide” are scheduled for release in summer 2008.
